Motto +3 Degree College is one of the constituent colleges of F. M. University, Balasore in the state of Odisha. Being established in the year 1992, this everlasting Institution has been remarkably functioning keeping pace with other neighboring colleges in Bhadrak district.With perfect vision and excellent mission this education temple aims at providing quality education, by inculcating social, cultural, moral values and molding the conduct and character of students.
The College is excellently located by the side of Bhadrak Chandbali Road and in the east it connects Dhamara port, the gate way of Indian economic prosperity and Vitarakanika Wild Life Sanctuary, Rajnagar, Kendrapara. In the west the holy shrine of Lord Akhandalamani is perfectly viewed from our education shrine. It is also at a distant of 10. K.m from Chandbali, the ancient maritime town of Odisha and about 40.k.m from Bhadrak town, the district headquarter and 145 K. M from the capital city Bhubaneswar. The college is surrounded by picturesque landscapes and bucolic ambience.
The college has been striving to develop itself as value and need based quality education provider in the district of Bhadrak. Confronting continuous natural calamities like flood and cyclone, the pioneering institution stands erected both in quality and quality keeping pace with other neighboring college in the district. Despite its snail movement the college has expanded and extended its size to Welcome all irrespective of region, religion, caste and class as far as practicable.
Our institution was started in R.R.M.E. School, Motto with four rooms and now it has acquired 10 general class rooms, 4 Honours rooms, Administrative Block, Women’s Hostel, Well equipped Library, Computer Laboratory and other minimum facilities to support academic, Sports, Cultural and Curricular Activities round the year. The college has been working hard to bring a revolutionary change in the field of infrastructural development. In the field of work efficiency among teaching and non-teaching staff the performance is above all satisfactory and steps are being taken up continuously by the internal mechanism and Governing Body for improvement of their performances.
Our institution stands firm and committed to enhance the teaching learning standard, to materialize the aims & objectives into reality to pay back the stakeholders for their dedication and dreams by providing quality education, personality development and employment opportunities to students from all branches of studies.
With a view to making the education more community based various outreach programs such as Blood Donation Camp, Health Camp, Disaster Management Program, Sanitation, Road safety Week and Environmental issues are taken up through NSS & YRC Units of the college. Regular Yoga classes, Extra Mural lectures, interaction with the students in tutorial practical and remedial classes are taken for inculcating moral values in the students. Students and staff are also awarded for their cultural and sports activities at different levels. The alumni of the college have excelled themselves in different fields and they also continue to take active interest in all round development of the college. The committed service of the faculty the dedication of the Non-teaching staff, the sportive students participation, the zealous cooperation of the Governing Body, the constructive feedback from alumni and parents have immensely inspired to go ahead.
As Assessment and Accreditation by NAAC is mandatory as per the UGC guidelines, so this year is very crucial for the college to stand on the threshold of obtaining NAAC Accreditation. With the valuable suggestion and feedback from NAAC Peer Team we hope the institution will be encouraged to proceed further in achieving our targets.

History
Being established in the year 1992 the college was affiliated to Utkal University, Vanivihar, Bhubaneswar in 1998, but when F.M University came into being in 1999 by the State Government the institution became an affiliated college of F.M University, Vyasa Vihar, Balasore. The college came under Direct Payment fold in 2008 and accordingly grant-in-aid released by the state govt. towards salary components against 10 employees of this college. It is a matter of pride and glory on our part that our developing institution has been recognized by U.G.C under Sec.2(f) & 12(B) of U.G.C. Act. 1956 in the year2012, vide UGC Letter-F. No-8-498/2010(CPP-I/C) Date-19.06.2012.

It offers need-based academic programmes by giving proper professional orientation to the courses. It prepares students with positive attitudes, skills and moral values. It also promotes quality teaching in present Global Perspective.
